On the 19th Nov. 2003 Greg died of throat cancer and pneumonia.
It was just 6 months after our wonderful wedding in the old town of Javea in Spain. We had a magical year together during which time Greg played with two other musicians collectively called "The Rockets". he was back centre stage with great plans for the future. They started recording an album that I was determined to complete for him. This has now been done and will be released in January on Angel Air Records as part of the “Greg Ridley Anthology”.
The other part of my dream was for this concert, for his friends to be together, both musicians and fans, he was truly respected and loved as a musician and as a man and deserved to be honoured in this way.
He was my shining star and will remain so for all time.
